Colorful Window Box Ideas

I thought I'd share a few colorful annual summer window box and container ideas.  These particular  boxes needed to be showy from a distance so I used bold color combinations, and planted them closely.  They were gorgeous from planting time up until our first frost!

Thank you Red Studio! More blogs to come, I'd better get them written before spring hits here in MN (although I have a while to go, it's currently -5).

Dear Gabby, I think that you are absolutely right about the need for window boxes and containers to make a bold statement. Yes, they do need to stand out from a distance which yours certainly do.

I particularly liked your very pretty arrangement in the container. I wonder what you are thinking about for this year?

Thank you Edith! I absolutely love the Ruby Chrystal grass. As for this year, I'm working on plant selections now, and will provide a list when ready! I'm always looking for inspiration, so if you have any ideas, please let me know.

I agree with you, it is so important to have window boxes and containers "pop."
